THROTTLE THERAPY NATION — OUR STORY

Where Healing Found a Home. Where a Movement Was Born.

THE BEGINNING

Throttle Therapy Nation didn’t begin as a brand.
It began as a moment — a heavy, unexpected turning point in June 2025 on the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.

What was supposed to be another ride… wasn’t.

That summer, we witnessed a level of loss and pain that altered the course of everything we believed about off-roading, community, and life. We watched a man lose the love of his life just three days before their 50th wedding anniversary. We watched a family break. We watched a place that once brought joy suddenly become too heavy for him to return to.

He passed away just 101 days later, a heartbreak that rippled far beyond that mountain.

We left that park carrying trauma that we didn’t know how to put into words.

And when we rolled into Wildcat Offroad Park, something shifted.

The heartbeat was different.
The mountain felt alive.
The trails felt safe.
And the land felt like it understood.

For the first time since that day, we felt a place where the noise of life quieted down enough to breathe.

That was the moment Throttle Therapy Nation was born.

A moment where loss became purpose.
Where trauma became clarity.
Where a single ride turned into a revival.

THE RIDE THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

What started as “just ride” slowly became something deeper — a place to heal, process, and rebuild.

Trails became therapy.
A throttle became a lifeline.
And community became family.

Joey and I didn’t set out to build a movement.
We set out to survive what we experienced.
But what came next was bigger than us.

Women started reaching out.
New riders started asking for guidance.
Families shared stories of finding peace in the same mountains.
Veterans told us the trail gave them something they hadn’t felt in years.
Kids found confidence behind the wheel that they never discovered anywhere else.

And Wildcat became home — not just to us, but to hundreds of riders who were silently searching for the same healing.

🕊️ IN MEMORY OF MELANIE “LYNN” INGRAM & JOHN INGRAM

This movement is dedicated in part to two riders whose story forever reshaped our own.

Melanie “Lynn” Ingram

A wife, mother, and lifelong rider whose spirit lit up every trail she touched. Lynn rode with joy, courage, and a presence that made others feel welcome. Her passing shook a community — but her love for the mountains remains a guiding light.

John Ingram

A devoted husband who carried a grief no man should ever endure. John passed just 101 days after losing Lynn, a reflection of a love so deep it couldn’t be separated for long.
John’s kindness, humility, and loyalty left a legacy that still rides with us.

Their story is one of love, loss, and the powerful truth that the trail can hold both pain and healing.
Throttle Therapy Nation carries their memory forward, honoring them every time we ride with purpose, respect, and unity.

Ride for Lynn. Ride for John. Ride for every rider who didn’t make it back down the mountain.

WHERE WE ARE NOW

What began in June 2025 grew into something no one expected:

  • A nationwide movement built around healing and purpose

  • A revived culture of mentorship, respect, and unity

  • A mapping initiative to protect riders and preserve legal trails

  • A voice for new riders, women riders, youth riders, and veteran riders

  • A family that shows up for each other — on and off the mountain

Throttle Therapy Nation isn’t a hobby.
It isn’t a club.
It isn’t a trend.

It’s a revival of what off-roading was always meant to be:
community, connection, and a space where riders become whole again.
